2025-2026 Incoming Kindergarten Registration Information:
If you have child that will be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2025, he or she may attend Kindergarten next fall. We are in the process of planning now and we will be having our Information Night (FOR PARENTS ONLY) on Tuesday, February 4 from 5:30-6:30pm. This will be a time to meet our principal, school counselor and kindergarten teachers. You will also make your child's kindergarten screening appointment. The two dates that you can choose from will be Friday, May 9 or Friday, May 16. If you cannot make it that night, please call Mrs. Lasecki at 440.236.5020 or our District Registrar, Mrs. Wenzel at 440.236.1236.
Columbia Basketball Mini Cheer Camp for preschool through 6 grade is around again! The camp will be held January 13, 15 and 16 from 7-8:30pm in the Columbia High School gym. **Please note the the flyer sent home week has the opponent listed as Black River. The Raiders are playing North Olmsted on January 18. Game time and date was not changed.

School Fees: Past year's fees and outstanding CLSD property are past due. Failure to pay fees will exclude students from field trips, extracurricular activities including athletics and extra curricular transportation beginning October 1. Payment options: Pay through the PaySchools system on the school's website, mail payment with check made payable to Copopa Elementary School, or send check or exact cash with your student to pay in the office. If you have any questions, please contact the office at (440) 236-5020.
OneView is currently closed for any updates to your student's information. Please contact the office is you need anything changed.
Chromebooks, Chargers, and Insurance: Students are responsible for keeping chromebooks in good working order. If you have a damaged or chromebook that is not working properly, bring it to the office for repair. If you have lost or damaged your charger, you are responsible for replacing it. Chargers are available on Amazon. Make sure you match the brand name of charger to the brand of your chromebook (Lenovo, Dell, etc.). Chromebook Insurance will be available in fall of each school year. New students to the district will have 2 weeks from their first day of school to purchase insurance. This covers one screen break. Chromebook insurance is no longer available for 2024-2025 year. See chromebook letter HERE
Report Cards: You may access and print a pdf. of your student’s report cards in PowerSchool. Please note, report cards cannot be viewed on the app. You must login to the PowerSchool website to view and print report cards. Access PowerSchool from the toggle on left.

PowerSchool Mobile APP:The mobile app district code is ZZGS. Report cards cannot be viewed on the app. You must login to the PowerSchool website to view and print report cards.

Snack Safely: At Copopa and Columbia middle schools we have a growing number of students and families dealing with serious peanut and tree nut allergies - the food allergy that claims more lives each year than any other. Columbia Schools makes every effort to reduce exposure and cross contamination for these children.
